Guiding Principles
The PMAI WIRED Initiative will create a regional identity and integrate regional assets within economic development, education, and workforce agencies. This integration will transform our talent pool, create an innovative and entrepreneurial climate, and act as a catalyst for leveraging resources to sustain and grow this Alliance and increase the global competiveness of this region. The following principles will guide work planning, priorities, project choices, and funding decisions.
Regional: |
the five-county area and impact the economy of that region |
Focus: |
target industry sectors, construction, manufacturing and energy technology. |
Collaborative: |
actively engage partners from industry, labor, economic development education, and workforce development and demonstrate a spirit of cooperation and respect. |
Portable: |
produce outcomes replicable throughout the region and/or state. |
Transforming: |
shift paradigms and create new ways to do business and achieve results in our region. |
Sustainable: |
demonstrate commitment and potential to sustain efforts beyond the life of the WIRED Initiative |
Leveraged Resources: |
seek maximum connection to and synergy with other available dollars and resources. |
